The session typically begins with a brief consultation to discuss any problem areas or recent training that may have caused your issues. The client is usually partially or fully clothed during the session as the therapist will only require access to the treatment areas. The therapist may then use a combination of techniques such as deep tissue massage, stretching, joint mobilisation, friction and trigger point work to relieve tension, improve circulation and enhance recovery. The treatment may be targeted to one or more key areas (such as legs, back, or shoulders) rather than the full body, aiming to reduce muscle soreness, increase flexibility and support optimal athletic performance. The treatment duration will depend on your specific treatment requirements and will be discussed at your initial consultation. Some of the most common issues treated under clinical massage therapy are: Back pain caused by muscle strain, sprains and spasm Sciatica Adhesive capsulitis (frozen shoulder) Rotator cuff issues Tennis or golfers elbow Neck spasm (stiff neck) Rotator cuff If you can't find an apt time that suits, give me a call
