About Your Sports Therapist
Chris Clarry
Welcome to my practice where I offer advanced assessment, treatment, pain management and rehabilitation of injury and dysfunction in the musculoskeletal soft tissue system.
With over 45 years as a professional,
I am committed to helping you reach your peak performance and recovery.
Your health is my top priority and I'm here to assist you in getting back to your best.
Here's my background:
In 1978 whilst studying martial arts in Japan I first found myself drawn towards traditional Japanese medicine which includes complementary manual therapies.
Upon my return from Japan,
my career took off as a professional M.A Instructor / Coach and my focus turned towards sports therapy.
Some years later I was invited to join the Essex Academy of Physiatrics where I continued to gain hands on experience and as part of my CPD
I later became an ITEC Qualified Therapist.
I specialise in advanced manual therapies such as neuromuscular techniques and soft tissue release, trigger point therapy, MET, postural mobilisation, pre-event/post-event sports massage, advanced sports and clinical massage, sports cupping.
I also offer an Anma massage treatment, a traditional Japanese therapeutic massage for anyone wishing to try a Japanese complementary therapy approach.

My Philosophy
I believe in a holistic approach to sports therapy.
My philosophy is centred around personalised care, evidence-based practice and continuous professional development.
I am dedicated to empowering my clients with the knowledge and tools they need to achieve their physical goals and maintain optimal musculoskeletal health.
Each individual is unique and I tailor my services to meet their specific needs, whether it's enhancing athletic performance, recovering from an injury, or managing a chronic condition.
My goal is to foster a supportive and collaborative environment where my clients feel motivated, educated and empowered on their journey to peak physical condition.
