My profession has given me a unique perspective into the understanding of injury and rehabilitation of my students sport related injuries.
As a Professional Martial Arts Instructor with over 50 years experience, having originally studied and qualified in Japan,
I currently Head a UK based Japanese Martial Arts Organisation and hold the rank of 8th Dan Shihan Chief Instructor.
In Japan the traditional healing methods such as Anma - Shiatsu - Kiatsu go side by side within the practice of traditional Martial Arts and my personal journey has been strongly influenced by my mentors from both Japan and the UK. My father was himself a martial artist and professional physical therapist with over 30 years in the healthcare industry as well as a former ITEC tutor. I will forever be thankful for his mentorship and inspirational guidance over the past 20 years during my transition into the complementary healthcare industry.
My client base has developed mainly from referrals which cover the Essex and Hertfordshire area's.
I practice a combination of traditional Japanese manual therapies and current industry practice methods, all aimed at helping my clients recover from both sports, leisure and industrial related soft tissue injuries.

Anma - Traditional Japanese Manipulative Massage therapy techniques including Kiatsu / Shiatsu Acupressure
Ultrasound & Electro therapies
I am a Registered Professional Therapist with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council and the Complementary Therapists Association, as well as being a fully Insured practitioner.
